When you apply for credit cards and other types of loans, if your credit isn’t good enough you may be issued a notice of adverse action. This happens when you’ve been denied for a credit card, or if you’ve been “adversely approved.” An adverse approval means that you’ve been approved for the product, but with less favorable terms (like interest rates).
